Many thanks must be given to Mr Jackie Mc Gale local Historian for many of the articles supplied some of which date back to 1898 from local papers.
Jackie has also provided many poems written by local poets on the subject of fishing and some of the local areas famous for fishing. Jackie was able also to provide two copies of our AGM booklet one dated from 1949 and the other from 1962. Relatives of mine(Secretary) appear in both booklets.
